“eFootball PES 2020 SEA Cup” Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions are created for “eFootball PES 2020 SEA Cup” (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”). By entering the Competition, a participant in this Competition is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions:
- Applicable game version
Only participants from the Participating Territories (as defined below) using Play Station 4® “eFootball PES2020 (Asia Edition) (the “Game”) may enter in the Competition.
- Structure of the competition
This competition is organized by the Singapore Cybersports & Online Gaming Association (the “Organizer”) and co-organized by Konami Digital Entertainment Limited (“Konami”). Konami authorizes the right to use PES2020 license and provides the online platform for the implementation of the Competition.
The Competition consists of two stages: the online preliminary stage and the offline final stage:
- Online Preliminary Stage: Participants to use the “Online Tournament” mode in the Game to play 1 vs 1 online within the stipulated times below. The 2 highest scoring participants from each of Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia (the “Participating Territories”) in this stage will qualify for the Offline Final Stage.
・Online Preliminary Stage period: January 13th (Mon) to 19th (Sun) 2020, 18:00-22:59 every night (Singapore time)
(2) Offline Final Stage: (taking place in Singapore, tentatively in end March 2020): The top 2 participants from each of the Participating Territories will compete in a traditional 1v1 tournament format with a group stage, followed by a knockout stage.
- Lucky Draw Campaign “Europe Stadium Tour”
All participants from the Participating Territories that take part in the Online Preliminary Stage from Jan 13, 2020 to Jan 19, 2020 will be automatically enrolled to Konami’s “Europe Stadium Tour” Lucky Draw Campaign.

The Organizer will contact the successful finalists of the eFootball PES 2020 SEA Cup Final through the PlayStationⓇ4 message function.
Only one valid account will be accepted per participant. Multiple accounts from the same participant will lead to that participant being disqualified from the Competition.
Only participants who are residents from the Participating Territories that participate in the Online Preliminary Stage will be eligible for qualification for the Offline Final Stage or the Lucky Draw Campaign.
For participants who are under 18, an approval from their parent, guardian or attorney is needed to participate in any stage of this Competition and in the Lucky Draw Campaign.
Participation in the Competition is free. However, all costs relating to the participation in the Competition, including telecommunication costs shall be solely borne by participants.
Disqualified participants would not be able to attend any competition organized by the Organizer or Konami in the future.
- Intellectual Property
By participating in the Competition, participants shall acknowledge and agree that the Organizer and Konami own all the intellectual properties, videos, audio, interviews and any information of participants generated from this event. No prior consent or notification is needed from the participants for the organizers to use on any media platform including magazines, websites, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and Instagram.
- Personal Information
・The Organizers will keep personal data confidential and only collect, use and store it in accordance with this Personal Information Collection Statement.
・Konami handles personal information in compliance with the applicable personal information protection law and in accordance with the following policy. https://legal.konami.com/games/privacy/en/.
NEITHER THE ORGANIZER OR KONAMI SHALL IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE TO ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY LOSSES OR DAMAGES IN ANY FORM, INCLUDING WHETHER A PARTICIPANT IS ABLE OR NOT ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS COMPETITION, OR ANY DISQUALIFICATION OR DISTURBANCE THAT AFFECTS ANY PARTICIPANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION, OR ANY THIRD PARTY DISPUTES OR ANY ISSUE ARISING FROM ANY THIRD PARTY TRANSACTIONS.
- Amendment, postponement or cancellation of the competition
The Organizer and Konami reserve the right under all circumstances to cancel or amend the Competition structure or to amend these terms and conditions without notice.
All rights and obligations that any participant may receive pursuant to qualification for the Offline Final Stage shall not be transferred to a third party or to be used as collateral.
All participants shall not directly or indirectly use by any means or for any purpose any intellectual property owned jointly or individually by the Organizer or Konami.
No participant shall have any authority to make or accept any offers or to establish any direct or indirect legal relationship for or on behalf of the Organizer or Konami.
- Effect of these terms and conditions
The various provisions of these terms and conditions are severable and if any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions. Such provisions found invalid or unenforceable should be interpreted reasonably and to a limited extent to make them effective and enforceable
- Governing law
This terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. The application of the contradiction law is a clear exclusion.
For any disputes arising from these terms and conditions, the courts of Singapore shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
