Team Flash establishes major partnership with SCOGA and secures sponsorship deals before FIFA eWorld Cup

Logitech and DXRacer signed as sponsors while SCOGA partners Team Flash to bolster efforts for Esports education programmes
28 May 2018 (Singapore) – Singapore’s top Esports players Amraan Gani and Joseph Yeo announced new long-term contracts with Team Flash, Singapore’s leading professional Esports organization, reinforcing the nation’s pursuit in its goal to be a top Esports country at the Asian Games where eSports will be a demonstration event this year and an official medal sport at the next edition in 2022.

Team Flash’s commitment to Amraan and Joseph is a timely boost as they will be competing at the FIFA eWorld Cup Global Series Playoff in Amsterdam on 1-3 June where the world’s best 64 players compete for 16 spots at the Grand Finals in August. Yeo extends his full-time professional contract with Team Flash till 2020, while Gani, a second-year Nanyang Technological University Maritime Studies undergraduate, will continue to compete as a semi-professional till 2019.

Team Flash will manage Joseph and Amraan’s participation in tournaments and competitions; marketing, promotions & publicity; training, facilities and equipment support.

Said Joseph: “I’m heartened by Team Flash’s continued faith in my talents and commitment to support my Esports career. The organization has been absolutely professional and been fully behind me in my pursuit to be the best player I can be. This gives me the confidence to set higher goals towards putting Singapore on the international Esports map.

Said Amraan: “This year has been a breakout year for me after winning the EA Champions Cup to qualify for the FIFA eWorld Cup Global Series to play against the world’s best players. It has been an incredible journey for me, and I’d like to thank Team Flash for allowing me to live my dream as an Esports player while allowing me to complete my university studies.”

Team Flash also announced its sponsorship agreement today with Logitech and DXRacer. Logitech, a premier gaming accessory manufacturer, will support Team Flash in their professional player development efforts and as an equipment partner, while DXRacer, the leading premium brand of gaming chairs, will be Team Flash’s official gaming chair partner, providing its innovative racing-inspired designed chairs for the team’s daily training programmes.

Team Flash will also partner with Singapore’s Cypersports & Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) to develop Esports programmes for its academy and provide additional support to its cyber wellness and digital literacy programmes.
