8 teams. 4 countries. 1 road.
Garena is organising a League of Legends tournament and you’re invited to witness one of the most exciting gaming events in the region!
The Ring of Champions will be held on the 4th and 5th of September 2010 to determine the region’s best League of Legends team. Top players from Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Singapore will compete for a chance to go to the World Cyber Games Grand Finals 2010 in Los Angeles, California, where they will battle it out with other League of Legends teams from the USA, Europe and China.
The matches will of course be the highlight of the tournament, but rest assured that Garena will not forget you, the audience. There will be activities with freebies to be given away. These include Razer products, Garena Gold Memberships, LoL goodies (incl. alpha and beta keys) and more! The lovely Garena Girls will also be roaming around to take pictures 😛 Note that existing Gold Members who come down will be given an alpha key when the LoL testing is launched.
Teams KS Nirvana and LEAP Gaming will be representing Malaysia, while the Philippines is sending Mineski LoL and Mineski Inertia; Team AS and PMS.Asterisk* are our Singapore representatives, and Vietnam has Friends Forever and Stars Boba II. Interested in catching any of your idols in action?
The Ring of Champions tournament will be held at the Singapore Expo Halls H and J, and will run from 9am to 6pm on both days. If you can’t make it down, don’t worry. All the action from the tournament will be broadcasted online in the form of a video mini-series at lol.garena.com/roc, and will feature exclusive player profiles and interviews in addition to recaps of the games played.
